Firewall Troubleshooting Guide

Understand how to tell if you're experiencing a firewall issue, and what to do to resolve it.

Brazen chat events are online and completely cloud-based. We strive to make the platform as easy to use as possible but know that stringent firewalls can sometimes restrict access to parts of the platform.

Below is information to share with your IT department to ensure that you and your team are able to use the platform without issue. You may also want to share more information on Brazen application emails and spam filters.

Application Whitelisting

Brazen Application

Additional Applications

Brazen uses a few third party integrations to create the best possible online experience for users. We recommend whitelisting the following as well.

  • res.cloudinary.com: this is where images uploaded through Control Center are stored
    • Not sure if this is being blocked Visit: http://res.cloudinary.com/dpzrpbjss/image/upload/v1519326766/brazen_logo_2018_khkel7.png
  • box.com: this is where embedded documents like resumes are stored, and how resumes are able to be displayed during one on one chats.
    • Whitelist api.box.com, *.boxcdn.net, and public.boxcloud.com
    • Not sure if this is being blocked? Visit: cdn01.boxcdn.net. If you don’t reach box.com, your firewall is blocking this site.
  • email: Brazen uses this dedicated IP address to send all email from the application: 168.245.116.172.
